Senior Mobile Banking Software Engineer (Fremont, CA)
Position Summary
MShift is looking for a dynamic and motivated Mobile Banking Software Engineer to join their Mobile Banking team to develop and deploy the next generation mobile banking solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for a spectrum of assignments from working on new products, system and product enhancements, and systems architecture to bug fixes.
Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end mobile banking applications including development on mobile phones, Web servers, Application Servers, Database Servers
- Work with the MShift Mobile SDK to integrate new clients
- Provide tight integration with Financial Institutions
- Extend current mobile banking features and functionality
- Work with Support, Marketing, and Sales personnel to define project requirements, and identify and diagnose issues
Required Skills
- 3+ years in Software engineering
- 3+ years experience in banking industry
- 3+ years experience with MShift Mobile SDK
- 3+ years of experience building and deploying software in secure Linux environments
- 3+ years of experience with online banking protocols
- Expert knowledge of banking security requirements
- Expert knowledge of Internet over mobile phones
- Expert knowledge of WML, HTML, Java, and security on mobile phones
- Expert knowledge of Linux internals
- Expert knowledge of configuring and deploying highly distributed and scalable Web software architectures
- Expert knowledge of emerging mobile architectures including IPhone, RIM, Android, and Windows CE
- Ability to learn new tools
- Highly motivated and independent
- Excellent communication skills
- Very good problem solving skills

IPhone Engineer (Fremont, CA)
Position Summary
MShift is looking for a dynamic and motivated Mobile Banking Software Engineer to join their Mobile Banking team to develop and deploy the next generation mobile banking solutions. Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance Mobile Banking applications designed for the Apple iPhone/iPod Touch, and delivered via Apple’s App Store platform
- Design, implement, and enhance MShift’s iPhone UI for various MShift clients
- Extend MShift current mobile banking features and functionality seamlessly to the Apple SDK platform interface
- Work collaboratively with MShift Support, Marketing, and Sales personnel in coordinating project requirements, identifying and diagnosing issues in the best interest of MShift’s clients
Required Skills
- #1: You can easily demonstrate your capabilities and competence on the Apple SDK development platform by presenting to MShift applications you have previously developed and deployed for the App Store. These do NOT need to be mobile banking applications; but your Apps should consistently receive 4-5 star reviews
- 3+ years experience in Software engineering
- Demonstrated working knowledge and familiarity of emerging mobile architectures including iPhone, SOA, or CBD
- Knowledge of Objective C and familiarity with Xcode
- Understanding of XML-formatted data
- Deep working knowledge of Internet over mobile devices and a thin client Internet access interface
- Ability and openness to learn new tools
- You are highly motivated and have the capacity to deliver top tier results working independently

Client Support Engineer (Fremont, CA)
Position Summary
MShift is looking for a Client Support Engineer to provide technical support and client services to our rapidly growing customer base. The key function of the individual is to provide quality support to the customer, which includes troubleshooting and liaising with various internal groups (Sales and Engineering). The Support Engineer will also be involved in the development testing and release processes.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and end users
- Service all client inquiries by phone, email, or internal trouble ticketing system
- Investigate and help resolve client support issues
- Ensure all issues documented via the trouble ticketing system
- Test and release applications to the client
- Provide support to sales and development team
Required Skills
- 2-3 years of call center and customer service experience
- Bachelors in Computer Science or 1-3 years technical experience in a related field
- Focus on delivering high quality client support
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
