MShift was formed in 1999 and is located in San Jose, CA.

MShift secured its first round of funding from Grand Pacific Financing, a subsidiary of the Koos Group (H.K. & Taiwan) and its second round of funding from Mobilephone Telecommunications International (MTI - Japan). MTI is the world's largest provider of content for the mobile Internet*.
