Value America Announces Move into Wireless E-commerce

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 24, 2000--Value America, Inc. (Nasdaq: VUSA - news), the leading online technology and office products superstore, today announced a partnership with the leading mobile e-commerce (M-Commerce) gateway, MobileShift, Inc. which will enable consumers to purchase from Value America on line, anytime, anywhere.

Under the terms of the agreement, Value America will leverage its inventory-less e-commerce engine by providing product list feeds to MobileShift for placement on all Mobile Internet devices. Now consumers can browse and purchase any product from Value America using their wireless web phone, such as those on the Sprint PCS network, or use a Wireless WinCE or Palm VII device. In exchange for enabling Mobile e-commerce (M-Commerce) for Value America, MobileShift will receive an undisclosed revenue share.
